Donor Dialogue has announced the development of a blood donor specific Facebook application specifically designed to create value to both the blood donor and the blood center. The downloadable application is personalized for the blood donor and then localized to the blood center to generate donations and boost retention through an online community.

Facebook is made up of profiles, applications, and pages, which can be used in different ways to highlight a blood center while targeting a blood donor to take action.
This blood donor specific Facebook application takes advantage of facebook components such as message boards and video sharing while offering customizable features to the blood center such as branding, integrated scheduling tools, event & drive listings, stories, text message alerts and follow-up calls.
